Best Tonkatsu Near Costco Daegu: Oh-Ho Katsu Review (Kid-Friendly & Great Parking)
Hello! This is Moongdara from Daegu! 😊
If you’re planning a trip to Costco Daegu Innovation City branch, I found the perfect spot for lunch or dinner right next door.
Oh-Ho Katsu is a premium Japanese-style pork cutlet (Tonkatsu) restaurant that is spacious, clean, and incredibly family-friendly.
Here is my honest review of this local gem in the heart of Daegu Innovation City.
📍 Location & Info

- Address: 173, Vision Square, 322 Innovalley-ro, Dong-gu, Daegu.
- Hours: 11:00 AM – 8:30 PM (Break time: 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM / Last order: 8:00 PM)
- Parking: Very spacious parking lot available from the 2nd to 4th floors of the Vision Square building.
Moongdara's Tip: It's right next to Costco! If the Costco parking line is too long, you can park here, enjoy a meal, and then finish your quick grocery shopping (3 hours free parking provided).
✨ Atmosphere: Perfect for Families & Solo Diners

The restaurant has two floors and feels very bright and modern. One thing that stood out was the abundance of baby chairs. It’s clearly a "Yes-Kids Zone," making it a great place for families with young children. They also have a bar-style counter, which is perfect for solo diners or office workers looking for a quick, comfortable lunch.
🍽️ The Signature: Red Crust Tonkatsu?

What makes Oh-Ho Katsu unique is their reddish crust. They use Red Yeast Rice (Hong-guk-ssal) to make the breadcrumbs, giving the cutlets a distinctive look and a healthy twist.
🥢 My Recommendations
1. Oh-Ho Assorted Set (Oh-Ho Modeum) - ₩16,000

This set includes Sirloin (Deung-sim), Tenderloin (An-sim), Cheese, and Sweet Potato katsu.
- Sirloin: Chewy and flavorful—my personal favorite!
- Tenderloin: Incredibly soft and juicy.
- Tip: Try dipping it in the truffle oil provided on the table and adding a bit of wasabi. It’s a game-changer!
2. Tenderloin Katsu (An-sim) - ₩13,000

If you prefer a meltingly soft texture, go for the Tenderloin. It’s fried to perfection, keeping the meat tender and moist inside.
3. Mini Jjolmyeon (Spicy Chewy Noodles) - ₩3,500

Don't let the name "mini" fool you; the portion is quite generous! These spicy, tangy noodles are the perfect palate cleanser between bites of crispy fried pork. The combination of Sirloin Katsu + Jjolmyeon is a match made in heaven.
🧂 Variety of Salts & Oils

I loved that they provide various seasonings on each table:
- Truffle Oil & Black Pepper
- Black Salt
- Yuzu Salt (Highly recommended for a refreshing kick!)
- Shichimi (Japanese spice mix)
